Ryan Howard is finally waking up his bat...hes a beast right now. But with our pitching staff I would like to trade for a starting pitcher so that he could fill up a starting position and also have happ take eatons starting spot and move eaton to the bullpin. That would make a good pitching rotation.

The Phillies need to start winning because the Marlins and the Mets (WTF) are gaining ground on them quickly. The need to start hitting and scoring a lot more runs than what they are. Although there is one thing that makes me wonder after watching the game last night. Will the Phillies still continue to go after a starting pitcher or will they just continue to rely on Happ?

I've been around sports my entire life both playing and watching. I grew up in Camden, DE and my brother and I began supporting Philly sports at a very early age. I was 3 when the Phillies won their only World Championship and 6 when the Sixers won it all, so I don't remember much. I never missed a game in 1993 when the Phils went to the WS and you could feel the energy that it was going to be a special year all season. Unfortunately, Joe Carter had other plans for us. That moment felt like someone ripped my heart out of my chest and stomped on it. I've never given up on my Phils though. I can't wait to finally taste a championship. I am very passionate about the Eagles too and have not missed a game since I was 10, therefore I've experienced many frustrating moments as a Philly fan. I'd have to say the game that hurt the most was losing the 2002 NFC Championship at home vs. the Bucs. So, I think that supporting these teams through good and bad all these years qualifies me as a very loyal fan.

yo... so today's game was pretty sick huh?? Penn State has CSN now but I followed the entire game tonight online since it was on CSN. Wish i could've watched it.
