Kroenke on brink of making an offer for Arsenal

Stan Kroenke has increased his stake in Arsenal to 29.9%, it has been confirmed in a statement to the Stock Exchange. This moves Kroenke close to the threshold whereby he would have to make an offer for all the shares in the football club. The Denver-based business has purchased a further 200 shares in the club's parent holding company. When he reaches 29.99% he will be able to launch a full takeover.
