Sychev called up to Russia play-off squad

Lokomotiv Moscow striker Dmitri Sychev is one of three players recalled by Russia coach Guus Hiddink in a 24-man squad for the World Cup qualifying play-offs against Slovenia later this month. Sychev has scored 10 goals in his last 11 games for Lokomotiv and replaces Rubin Kazan striker Aleksandr Bukharov.
