    Hull: Phil Brown not sacked

    Hull City have issued a statement denying rumours that manager Phil Brown has been sacked. Reports had suggested that the Tigers boss had been given the boot at the KC Stadium amid calls for his removal from ex-players and after UK bookmakers stopped taking bets on his departure. • Accountants warning for Tigers A statement from Hull read: "Contrary to media speculation the club can confirm that Phil Brown has not been sacked and remains the manager of Hull City Football Club.'' ...
