    Palmeiras squandered another opportunity to pull clear of their rivals when they lost 2-0 away to lowly Santo Andre in the Brazilian championship on Wednesday. The league leaders, who are four points ahead of second-placed Atletico Mineiro, have lost their last three matches without scoring and gone four games without a victory.
