FA deny £400k World Cup bonus plans

The Football Association have denied reports that they are negotiating a deal which would earn England players a World Cup bonus of £400,000 each if the Three Lions triumph in South Africa next year. Saturday's newspapers suggested the FA are earmarking £5.5 million to be split between the 23-man squad should England win the World Cup for the first time since 1966.
