    Islanders, Pachuca, D.C. reach group play in CCL

    MEXICO CITY -- D.C. United, Los Islanders of Puerto Rico and Mexican club Pachuca advanced Tuesday to the group stage of the CONCACAF Champions League. D.C. United claimed its place by winning 5-4 on penalties at El Salvador's Firpo after the match was tied at 1-1 through regulation and extra time.
