    Nacional beat Defensor Sporting 3-0 on Wednesday to send the 2008-09 Uruguayan league championship into a second two-legged final after the teams already attempted to decide the title over three matches. As the team that finished top of the overall standings, Defensor would have lifted the title if they had won the decider forced by 1-1 draws in both legs of the original final.
