    US name experimental Gold Cup squad

    The United States, surprise Confederations Cup finalists, have named a largely experimental squad for next month's CONCACAF Gold Cup. Just four players, including forward Freddy Adu, were kept from the squad in South Africa in a 23-man roster announced on Thursday including seven uncapped players. The U.S kick off their defence of their regional title against Grenada on July 4 and face Honduras and Haiti before the knock-out stage.
