    Toronto releases Sutton, acquires Garcia

    TORONTO -- Toronto FC has released goalie Greg Sutton after acquiring defender Nick Garcia and the rights to forward Ali Gerba from San Jose. Toronto sent its third round pick in next year's MLS draft and undisclosed financial considerations to the Earthquakes in the deal for Garcia and Gerba.
