Caretaker Parkes quits Blackpool for ''clean break''

Tony Parkes has quit as manager of Championship club Blackpool after opting not to turn his caretaker role into a permanent one. Parkes and Steve Thompson took over at the Seasiders following Simon Grayson's mid-season defection to Leeds and helped drag them to safety with a fine late run of form.
