Championship leaders Wolves enjoyed their best day for several weeks without taking to the field. After a miserable run of form, Mick McCarthy's team could have been joined on 63 points at the summit by Birmingham this afternoon, but Blues wasted their chance as they crashed 1-0 at Coventry.
