    Ruptured Achilles ends season for Govou

    Olympique Lyon's France forward Sidney Govou will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his right Achilles tendon in training on Wednesday, his club said. ''Sadly, he (Govou) will be unavailable until the end of the season,'' Lyon said in a statement on their website. The injury will require surgery and is a severe blow to the Ligue 1 leaders, chasing an eighth consecutive title but under threat from second-placed Girondins Bordeaux, who are one point behind with a better goal difference ...
