Marseille have been charged by UEFA after an object was thrown in the direction of Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard during Wednesday's Champions League game at Anfield. Gerrard appeared to be hit by a missile thrown from the Marseille fans' section as he went to take a corner in the first half of Liverpool's 1-0 victory. UEFA confirmed yesterday the incident was to be included in Portuguese referee Olegario Benquerenca's report as well as the report from UEFA delegate Svein Johannessen. Eu ...
