Mexes ban for Roma, Vieira boost for Inter

    Roma defender Philippe Mexes has been banned for three games by the Italian football league for insulting the match official in a Serie A game at Siena. The French international was ejected after being shown a second yellow card for dissent during Roma's 1-0 defeat on October 5.
