Juventus have asked the Italian Football League for permission to cancel their contract with injured defender Jorge Andrade. Andrade joined Juve from Deportivo La Coruna for 10 million euros in the summer of 2007 but missed most of last season after having to undergo two knee operations. After nearing full fitness, he then suffered a relapse and has had to go under the knife once more, ruling him out of the remainder of the current campaign.
