Lyon rocked by injury to defender Grosso

    Lyon defender Fabio Grosso will be out of action for around a month after fracturing ribs while on international duty with Italy. The left-back sustained the injury in the 18th minute of the Azzurri's 2-1 victory over Cyprus on Saturday. "It isn't a very serious injury but it is very painful for him each time he runs," said Bernard Lacombe, the advisor to Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas, on the club's website.
