Uruguay international Recoba signs for Panionios

    ATHENS, September 6 (Super League) - Uruguay international Alvaro Recoba has signed for Panionios, the club has announced. The 32-year-old former Internazionale winger is expected in Athens on Sunday night to finalise the move after agreeing a lucrative two-year deal. "Panionios is pleased to announced that Alvaro Recoba has agreed a two-year deal, which will be filed with the Super League on Monday," said a statement on the club's website.
