Sevilla forward Arouna Kone is expected to miss most of the forthcoming season after picking up a serious knee injury while on international duty with the Ivory Coast. The 24-year-old was forced out of his country's 2-1 friendly win over Guinea in Paris on Wednesday after 10 minutes and taken to hospital where tests confirmed the player had torn the cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee.
