Colombia's America will face local rivals Deportivo Cali in the first stage of the Copa Sudamericana after recording a 4-2 victory against Venezuela's Maracaibo on Thursday. Midfielder Victor Cortes scored twice, while Gustavo Ramos and Pablo Arango secured the win for the Cali-based team. Dario Figueroa and Heiber Diaz netted the goals for the visitors, who played the entire second half with 10 men after Lainecker Zafra was sent-off.
