Gordon Strachan insists he will not buy players simply to appease the Celtic fans. The Celtic manager admits transfer dealings are hard work because the financial riches of English clubs have made it 'a mad world'. Strachan has added only Derry winger Paddy McCourt to the squad that finished last season, although he has tied up a permanent deal for Georgios Samaras.
