Monday, October 23, 2006 As one surveyed the Western Conference following the weekend's playoff games, there were two items that caught the eye: the quality play provided by both contests, and the unexpected heroes that emerged in each game. Postseason matches tend to be stagnant affairs with little flair and lots of rugged defending.
