Tuesday, October 17, 2006 With the MLS playoffs finally upon us, it's clear that the teams making the most noise entering the postseason come from the Eastern Conference. The New England Revolution and the Chicago Fire have taken turns as the league's hottest team since the All-Star break. And don't forget D.C. United, which despite some struggles still won the Supporters Shield (awarded to the top team in the MLS standings).
