Friday, February 27, 2004 Southampton chairman Rupert Lowe is locked in talks with club's board over whether they can take a chance on appointing Glenn Hoddle as manager again. The fans have made it quite clear they would not welcome back the man who jumped ship to Spurs in 2001, but Hoddle is still the favourite from a three man shortlist to replace Gordon Strachan.
