ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia quarterback Quincy Carter, bothered by a sore left shoulder, wasn't able to practice with the team Wednesday but did manage some light throwing on the side. Coach Jim Donnan said Carter is still doubtful for Saturday's game at Kentucky. Sophomore Cory Phillips directed the first-team offense for the No. 12 Bulldogs.
