Sunday, November 8, 2009 VALENCIA, Spain -- Dani Pedrosa of Spain won the season-ending Valencia Grand Prix on Sunday ahead of newly crowned MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi. Jorge Lorenzo finished third to clinch the runner-up spot in the overall standings. Casey Stoner won here last year and had been due to start from pole, but was forced to retire after falling on the warm-up lap and wrecking his bike.
