Saturday college football rewind

Some general thoughts on Saturday's action (I welcome yours): * It was a good weekend for TCU. The Horned Frogs avoided any talk of a trap game and whipped San Diego State, 55-12. As usual, TCU quarterback Andy Dalton didn't have ridiculous stats, but did what he had to do. He was 14-of-20 for 239 yards and two running TDs and two passing TDs. The big BCS standings picture also got better for TCU. First, Boise State got just a 10-point win over Louisiana Tech and didn't look overly impressive ...
