Gimpl tops Cavigelli in big air event

BARCELONA, Spain -- Austrian snowboarder Stefan Gimpl has won a World Cup big air competition on a ramp built on a stadium field. Gimpl edged Switzerland's Gian-Luca Cavigelli on Saturday for his second victory this season. Norways's Gjermund Braaten was third, followed by Switzerland's Benedikt Nadig and Finland's Roope Tonteri.
