Thursday, November 5, 2009 ESPN.com's Graham Watson wrote a story about the WAC hiring an PR firm to help tout Boise State's BCS status. The firm, Scott Peyron & Associates, doesn't lobby voters or coaches. They send out a weekly list of talking points for Boise State to media members. And they set up interviews for WAC commissioner Karl Benson. The firm wants help get Boise State to a BCS bowl, even if there's another nonautomatic qualifying school ranked in front of them (as TCU is now). The story made me wonder: Does ...
