ESPNChicago.com Thursday, November 5, 2009 The Chicago White Sox made it official Friday, announcing the trade of second baseman Chris Getz and third baseman Josh Fields to the Kansas City Royals for Mark Teahen. The White Sox finally confirmed the trade after 24 hours of speculation following a New York Daily News report. According to baseball sources, the hang-up in the trade was the difference in salary of Teahen -- who can make as much a $5 million in arbitration in 2010 -- and the salaries of Getz and Field, who combined will mak ...
