Last week's triumphant two-win trip to Los Angeles came with a bonus for Dirk Nowitzki. The Dallas Mavericks stayed in L.A. after Saturday night's victory over the Clippers before flying back home Sunday, giving Dirk some unexpected time to hang out with his pal Chris Kaman. Kaman busted the Mavs for 27 points and 11 rebounds in Dallas' narrow 93-84 escape, but that wasn't going to keep them from meeting for a postgame meal.
