Big 12 represents in women's coaches poll

Baylor leads a strong Big 12 contingent in the women's basketball ESPN/USA Today coaches poll released Wednesday. The Bears will open the season with a No. 4 ranking. Connecticut, Stanford and Ohio State own the top three spots. Three other Big 12 teams made the list: Oklahoma (8th), Texas (14th) and Texas A&M (16th). Kansas also received votes, and is essentially ranked 27th.
