Tuesday, November 3, 2009 Brad Davis dished out 4,524 assists during his career with the Dallas Mavericks. He unofficially added five more to that total Tuesday night, almost 18 years after he wore No. 15 for the final time. How could that be? Because Jason Kidd credited Davis for snapping him out of a 3-point shooting funk. Kidd, who shot a career-best .406 from 3-point range last season, clanked good look after good look during the first three games.
