It took 19 years, nine weeks and a series of eye-opening wins in 2009, but Boys' Latin and Queen Anne's are finally ranked among the state's elite. Boys' Latin, at 9-0 and bound for the MIAA B championship game, makes its state ranking debut at No. 22. Queen Anne's, a state semifinalist last year who is riding a 22-game regular-season win streak, checks in at No. 23.
