Brandan Kearney (Detroit/Southeastern) grew up in Big Ten territory. No surprise the Detroit resident has ties to both the University of Michigan and Michigan State. His father's side of the family, which included a pair of football players, donned the Maize and Blue. Mom's family, chock full of Michigan State graduates, are Green as the state's forests.
