In recent weeks, Texas had fallen behind Florida and Alabama in the pecking order of elite teams. However, Saturday's 41-14 rout of Oklahoma State in Stillwater was the kind of signature win the Longhorns needed to impress our voters and sandwich themselves back between the two SEC powers.
