Perkins delivers when number is called in fourth

BOSTON -- Kendrick Perkins didn't get a chance to contribute the last time the Celtics survived a nip-and-tuck game in the fourth quarter. The 24-year-old center went to the bench with more than four minutes remaining in the Celtics' season-opening win in Cleveland, giving way to veteran big man Rasheed Wallace, and he did not return.
