DAYTON, Ohio -- Steve Valentino scored a 1-yard rushing touchdown with 13:23 left, and Dayton's defense held on for a 21-14 win over San Diego on Saturday. Valentino, who had scored on a 15-yard run in the third to tie the game at 14, trotted in from a yard out to put the Flyers (7-1, 5-0 Pioneer Football League) up by a touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
