Shead moves to 9th on all-time rushing charts

Senior running back Traylon Shead (Cayuga, Texas/Cayuga) began the season with a shot to break Sugar Land (Texas) runner Kenneth Hall's long-standing record of 11,232 yards in a season. However, a high ankle sprain and a cancelled game due to lightning have derailed his chance to break the record that has stood since 1953. Nonetheless, Texas commit is still racing up the charts.
