Friday, October 30, 2009 The Dallas Mavericks signed Quinton Ross because of his defensive prowess. Josh Howard's injury pushes Ross into a starting role for the time being, including Friday night's game against the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers. Could Ross be the key to containing Kobe Bryant? Well, judging by Kobe's stats in 16 career games against Ross, don't count on it.
