Raptors keep Belinelli through 2010-11

TORONTO -- The Toronto Raptors plan to keep Italian guard Marco Belinelli for another season. The Raptors exercised the fourth-year team option on Belinelli's contract on Thursday, two days before the deadline. Belinelli, whose contract is now guaranteed through the 2010-11 season, was the 18th pick in the 2007 draft. He was acquired by Toronto in an offseason trade with the Golden State Warriors.
