Thursday, October 29, 2009 VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Eddie the Eagle will be back in Canada but he won't be doing any flying. Michael Edwards was an inexperienced and unorthodox ski jumper from England who became a fan favorite during the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. He will carry the flame during the torch relay for the Vancouver Games. Edwards is scheduled to carry the torch in Winnipeg in January -- one of 15 international torchbearers, mostly athletes, who will be part of the relay. He had been ski jumping fo ...
