Thursday, October 29, 2009 The Patriots have been flagged for 44 accepted penalties through seven games, with an additional four penalties that have been declined, and two that were offsetting. The total is high when compared to the 2008 season. Last year, the Patriots set the NFL record for fewest accepted penalties in a 16-game season, with 57.
