Wednesday, October 28, 2009 SYDNEY -- World No. 4 Caroline Wozniacki has been confirmed as the fourth top 10 women's player to use the Sydney International tournament as final preparation for next year's Australian Open, organizers said Thursday. Wozniacki, who made the U.S. Open final in September, will join Serena Williams, Elena Dementieva and Victoria Azarenka for the Jan. 10-16 event, which is one of the traditional tournaments players use to fine-tune for the year's first Grand Slam.
