Tuesday, October 27, 2009 TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays are taking the interim tag off Paul Beeston's title. He was appointed president and CEO of the club and Rogers Centre for a three-year term Tuesday. Beeston took over from Paul Godfrey on an interim basis in October 2008. He said he didn't want the job full-time, noting it demanded someone willing to make a 5-to-10 year commitment. But team owner Rogers Communications Inc., encouraged him to take the permanent job.
