Bernard's pledge not a surprise

Four-star running back Giovanni Bernard (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas) committed to Notre Dame on Sunday. The Irish topped a host of other programs for his services. While many were surprised at the decision, it's isn't a big surprise to me personally. Bernard played things close to the vest during interviews, but there always was a Notre Dame feel with him.
