DE Spears: Having day off is no big deal

IRVING -- Defensive end Marcus Spears said he understands why coach Wade Phillips will catch heat for giving the players Monday off following their victory against the Falcons on Sunday. The Cowboys practiced only twice two weeks ago during the bye week, and then they returned to their normal four days of workouts last week in preparation for the Atlanta game.
