Friday, October 23, 2009 MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived veteran guard Antonio Daniels. He was acquired from New Orleans in September in a cost-saving move. The Timberwolves gave permission to Daniels to seek a trade and did not play him in the preseason. Since no deal could be completed, the young and rebuilding Wolves waived the 12-year veteran.
