Cubs hire Jaramillo as hitting coach

The Cubs announced Wednesday that they had hired former Texas Rangers hitting instructor Rudy Jaramillo. Player sources told ESPNChicago.com on Tuesday that Jaramillo would sign a three-year, $2.42 million contract.
