Tuesday, October 20, 2009 CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Miami safety Randy Phillips says he'll play for the eighth-ranked Hurricanes on Saturday when they host Clemson in an Atlantic Coast Conference game. Phillips injured his shoulder against Virginia Tech on Sept. 26. He hasn't played since and says he'll eventually need surgery to repair a torn labrum. The senior says he's returning because he can absorb contact without pain and doesn't want to miss more games. Phillips says he tested the shoulder at practice early Tuesda ...
